I am Giulio Maddii, also known as Mad Dj, the founder of Mad About Events.
I was born in Montevarchi, a small town between Florence and Arezzo. Since I was a little boy I have grown up by listening to music: I was fascinated by all the vinyls I had at home! My father played guitar and my brother and my sister are professional dancers, so at 7 years old I started studying jazz drum, which has helped me with the sense of rhythm.
In 2013 I started buying professional equipment to create small shows. From this time on, music became not only a passion but also a profession. In 2015 I had my first experience as resident dj in a famous discotheque of my zone. In the next 5 years I worked in some of the most important clubs of Tuscany and at the same time I worked for several exclusive destination weddings and private events.
Since 2019 I run my own winter discoteque as artistic director, and in the meantime the Djs and technician who work for me during winter in my club helped me to start this new experience: Mad About Events - Artistic Agency.
We can take care of more than one event per day with our professional audio and lights and professional (and real) Djs. Today I work together with several Italian and foreign wedding planners/agencies/locations, which plan high-class events.
During the years we made people dance from all over the world! We work mainly in Tuscany, Umbria and Liguria, but we are avalaible for events all over Italy.
As well as the Djs, we have in our team also a sound engineers and light designers, so we can create a different set up in each location . The light is staged in order to give great attention to details, trying to enhance the peculiarity of each venue. Key words: make fun and bring happiness!
